Adobe Photoshop is one of the most powerful image modification used by designers and individuals alike.  Photoshop, being an international program, reveals its popularity through altered photographs. The program is so widely known that when we observe an alteration in an image, we say it has been “Photo-shopped.” The version used for this course is Adobe Photoshop CS.

This certification offers a candidate the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to design, create and manipulate any image.

Photoshop will ensure that a Candidate:

• Is able to resize an image as well as work with the size guide.
• Is able to select using the ellipse or square Selector Tool.
• Can crop an image using the Crop Tool.
• Can adjust colour and manipulate tone effects.
• Understands layers.
• Is able to insert and edit text
• Can insert a gradient.
• Understands saving formats such as a Jpeg or Gif.

The Photoshop certification requires approximately 20-30 hours of tuition followed by the successful completion of a simple 45-minute test.
